Case Study #1

A local company was required to be compliant with Sarbanes-Oxley, did not have the technical expertise or experience needed.  We provided experienced senior level professionals, trained in the various aspects of Sarbanes-Oxley, to direct their staff to successfully complete the documentation and testing requirements.  We also met with their external auditors to discuss the work being done and resolved all issues to their satisfaction.  During the project we developed Sarbanes-Oxley related training materials for the company and conducted numerous training sessions, thereby allowing the company to assume greater responsibility for this process in the future and reduce their costs.

Case Study #2:  

A multi-location company made numerous information technology (IT) upgrades, including the implementation of several internet based applications and a wireless network environment.  All systems were fully functional and operating smoothly, but there was a concern over data security from both a theft and integrity perspective.  We performed a data security assessment and identified various points where data could be compromised and worked with the company to develop improved policies in addition to making recommendations on how to secure each potential point of compromise.  We also assisted the company with implementing many of the recommendations because of their limited IT staff.
