Frank Damico’s career began over 25 years ago when he became a CPA at Arthur Andersen & Co during the Big 8 era. He subsequently became a senior financial executive in both public and private organizations and a successful consultant. He has extensive merger & acquisitions and international experience.
Mr. Damico served as the CFO and later as Vice President of Corporate Development at an international software firm that developed trading systems for banks and securities firms. During his tenure he completed four acquisitions in Western Europe and successfully integrated the target companies into his organization. He also standardized all of the company’s operations on an integrated accounting system. Mr. Damico had global financial responsibilities and conducted business across Western Europe,Scandinavia,Japan,Australia andNew Zealand.
Mr. Damico also served as the Director of Financial Planning and later as a subsidiary Vice President at an international software firm that developed engineering software. His responsibilities included managing financial reporting, global budgeting and planning, financial management of consulting operations, and special projects. Mr. Damico opened subsidiaries inJapan,KoreaandHong Kongand was engaged in the international tax management.
Prior to his roles in the software industry Mr. Damico was the Treasurer of a private investment holding company that conducted leveraged buy-outs. Mr. Damico participated in all phases of the acquisitions and divestitures process including arranging financing, due diligence, tax planning, and managing the buy-sell agreement process. In addition he managed the firm’s treasury operations and accounting department.
Mr. Damico’s diversified career has also included being the CFO of a manufacturing company and Vice President of a firm engaged in asset based lending.
Mr. Damico’s consulting career continued his involvement in international operations. He was a partner in a firm providing services to companies and wealthy individuals engaged in cross-border operations and investments between theUnited StatesandMexico. Prior to becoming one of the founders of The Peritian Group Mr. Damico’s consulting practice was focused in the Risk Management and compliance areas. He has been engaged in internal and fraud audits, Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance projects, and led several systems installation projects. Mr. Damico’s SOX practice has been in both business process and IT controls. He has provided consulting services in theUnited Kingdom,Taiwan, andSingaporeas well as theUnited StatesandMexico.
Mr. Damico served on the Board of the Financial Executives International Philadelphia chapter and recently was recognized for completing 25 years of membership.
Mr. Damico is a graduate ofLa SalleUniversitywith a BS degree in finance. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants (PICPA).
