Frank Dattilo is a Big 4 trained information technology and operations management consultant with over 25 years of senior operating and technology executive experience in public, closely held private and not-for-profit organizations.
As the Executive Director of a $20MM annual revenue radiology practice, Mr. Dattilo filled the roles of CEO, COO, CTO, and CFO while implementing financial and operational processes and controls and re-engineering the major business processes improving efficiencies and reducing costs.
In that role he was also responsible for implementing state of the art RIS and PACS information technology solutions as well as upgrading imaging technology, developing and implementing financial, information, and HIPAA & HITECH controls environments, and restructuring financial and imaging operational infrastructures, policies, procedures, and staffing.
As an Information Technology consultant and IT controls compliance auditor, Mr. Dattilo directed the Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) Information Technology controls assessment, compliance testing, and remediation engagements for a number of entities including; a prominent national insurance and investment management company, an international manufacturer of integrated circuits, a regional pharmaceutical research and manufacturing firm, and a national telecommunications company.
Mr. Dattilo played a key role in the startup of an international electronic funds transfer company in which he developed the operational and technological strategies and infrastructure necessary to initiate and support business operations, and designed and managed the development and implementation of information delivery and database systems necessary to conduct daily operations.
Prior to that position, Mr. Dattilo, as the Chief Technology Officer and Chief of Operations for a boutique full service financial service and investment management firm catering to high net worth individuals and families; directed a company-wide Business Process Evaluation and Re-engineering project resulting in cost reductions, efficiency gains, and out-sourcing of key “back-office” functions, reduced Information Technology and Operations costs by 33% over a two-year period, and developed and implemented the strategic plan required to grow the company from $2 billion to $10 billion of assets under management over a five year period. In addition, Mr. Dattilo was responsible for designing developing and implementing the firm’s information technology and operations framework and directed a multi-national team of 50 in developing a multi-million dollar fully integrated, web-accessible, financial analysis and reporting software application for the high net worth financial services industry incorporating the consolidation of client investment accounts from multiple advisors and brokers.
Mr. Dattilo also spent several years as a “Big 4” Information Technology Consultant in which he was responsible for managing client relationships and numerous engagements for clients in a variety of public and not for profit industries.
Mr. Dattilo is a graduate of BloomsburgUniversity with a BS degree in management and a minor in computer science. He also holds an MBA in finance fromTempleUniversity. He is a Certified Information Systems Auditor, a certified Six Sigma Green Belt and a member of the Radiology Business Management Association.
